Great Lake Mall and Laketran team up to "Stuff the Bus"

Great Lakes Mall is teaming up with Laketran to hold its first annual Stuff the Bus collection drive on Saturday, July 28th. School supplies as well as clothing and books will be collected in support of Lake County's annual Back to School Bash.

"The level of commitment and caring in this community is always inspiring," said Kate Miller, marketing director at Great Lakes Mall. "We invite members of the community to help us "Stuff the Bus" to ensure families in Lake County have the basic items needed for a solid start to a successful school year."

Community members are asked to participate by donating new school supplies, new or gently used clothing and books for infants and children ages 5-18. Suggested items for donation include binders, colored pencils, composition books, construction paper, erasers, glue sticks, notebooks, pencils, pens, pocket folders, spiral notebooks and backpacks. Items can be dropped off on Saturday, July 28th between the hours of noon-4pm at the main entrance/food court. Just look for the Laketran bus!

"Laketran is happy to partner with the Great Lakes Mall for "Stuff the Bus" and deliver the donations to Salvation Army for the Back to School Bash," shared Laketran's director of communications Julia Schick. "We encourage everyone to give generously to this event to help the youth and low-income families in our community."
