The Fairport Harding Skippers traveled to Windham, Ohio to take on the Windham Bombers. The Skippers would continue their hot start to the season with a 30-0 victory over the Bombers.

The Skippers Defense dominated for the third straight week led by Junior Dillon Knesebeck who had 11 tackles and fellow Junior Sam Honkala who had 2 interceptions.

The Skippers would score on their first drive of the game on a 42-yard touchdown pass from Sophomore QB Will Fezekas to Junior Tai Malone with 9:46 left in the 1st quarter.

Moments later, just a few plays after the kickoff to the Bombers, Tai Malone would intercept the pass from Windham Sophomore QB Wyatt Hanshaw. The Skippers took over inside the Bomber 40 but failed to score.

The 1st quarter was rocky for both teams but then in the 2nd quarter Fairport would start to dominate the game. With 7:33 left in the first half Senior Dom Knesebeck would sack Hanshaw in the endzone for a safety putting the Skippers on top 9-0. Then just 58 seconds later the Skippers would score on a 34-yard TD pass from Will Fazekas to Dillion Knesebeck to make the score 16-0 with 6:35 left in the 2nd.

Just under two minutes later Senior Quentin Piotrowski blocked a punt and return it to the three yard line where on the next play Junior Running Back Josiah Cooper rushed for a three yard touchdown to make it 23-0 with 4:36 left in the half. That would remain the score at the half.

Two minutes and thirty-one seconds into the third quarter Running Back Josiah Cooper ran for his second touchdown of the night making the score 30-0 with 9:39 left in the third quarter. The Skipper and Bombers did no more damage on offense as the game ended 30-0 Fairport.

The Skippers will be home next Friday September 18th vs the Pymatuning Valley Lakers game time at 7:00 p.m.
